The PWS are excited to return to the Monaro in 2026. In partnership with Monaro Farming Systems, the PWS held their first Training Weekend on the Monaro in 2025. The weekend comprised of 18 industry specialists presenting on topics relevant to the attendees. The 6 small- group rotational session topics comprised of stockmanship, sheep selection, pasture assessment, worm management, animal health and production and understanding wool processing and marketing. The whole group came together for sessions focused on mental health, the wool pipeline, wool policy, business and working dogs. The 2026 weekend will follow a similar format to 2025, with more details to be announced soon.
