Wyvern Station, Carrathool Training Weekend
Wyvern Station, Carrathool.
31st May-1st June 2025
T.A.Field Estates Pty Ltd has been a long-term supporter of the Peter Westblade Scholarship and generously hosted us again in 2025, for our 7th Training Weekend at Wyvern Station. Wyvern Station is 50,000 hectares located Southwest of Griffith in the Riverina of NSW. Steeped in history, as an iconic wool producing property it features state of the art facilities including a new wool shed, yards and shearers quarters.
Attendees engaged in a wide range of sessions focused on core industry skills including animal health and assessment, sheep selection, stockmanship, working with wool, communication skills, mental health awareness and goal setting. With a strong emphasis on hands-on learning, participants left the event with both enhanced knowledge and the confidence to apply it in a practical setting for their varied careers within the industry.
